Programme Overview This training provides a structured introduction to the Finnish language for participants starting from level 0. The programme builds a strong foundation in practical communication skills and cultural understanding needed for everyday life, further studies, and entry into working life in Finland. Key Content Areas Finnish Language Fundamentals – Essential vocabulary, core phrases, and basic sentence structures for everyday communication. Everyday Communication Skills – Practical language for common situations such as introductions, family and close circle, weather, time, and daily routines. Study Skills Development – Tools and strategies to support effective language learning and independent study. Social Knowledge and Cultural Awareness – Introduction to Finnish society, customs, and cultural practices to support integration. Work-Life Skills – Basic language and knowledge relevant to entering the Finnish workplace. Learning is interactive and collaborative, focusing on clear, simple communication and confidence-building in real-life situations. The course content corresponds to beginner-level materials like to Suomen Mestari (chapters 1–5), Hyvin menee, and Oma Suomi. All study materials are included.
